Functionality enhancement, content optimisation and graphic redesign of the existing interface for a union of industrial paint manufacturers.
↓ The TKROM Group is an important paint maker, with 30.000 m² of manufacturing facilities and a product range catering to domestic and industrial uses alike, managing the production process throughout.
Following a brand identity renewal by branding agency Small, the next step was to up their game online.
↓ The old site: Unable to showcase the wide range products or offer much service to users. Lots of room for improvement and very little, if any, functionality.
↓ Key workflows were mapped out and new functionalities created.

↓ A thorough study of the business and its strategy (including benchmarking, content, keyword analysis, development of user personas, user journey, etc.) was carried out prior to the prototyping stage, in which to implement the new information architecture.
↓ Detailed prototypes were also created to guide design for the mobile version.
↓ The new site is built around the needs of domestic and professional users, with tools to calculate how much product is needed, ask an expert or a simulator to pick the perfect shade for our home or check the blog for advice on all related matters. A new, content rich site that also improves SEO considerably.
↓ A custom-made tool to explore all the available colours & pick the perfect one, before we dip our brush.
↓ Other new functionalities available: find your nearest seller (included in product page), and calculate how much paint you will need.
