Who am I?
I’m a UX designer based near London, in Kent.
My job is to help teams meet the goals and needs of users and organisations, using design methods to realise value and drive impact collectively.
Design itself is a method; a collective way of working to ask the right questions and provide good solutions. My discipline (User Experience Design or UX) could be defined as strategic collaboration to manage risk and drive valuable outcomes.
...Or at least that's how I'd define it. We use design methodology to provide solutions, and these solutions (it whatever shape or form), should be delightful but also pragmatic, unpretentious, and as timeless as possible. When possible, it's a good thing to look back, revise, and re-iterate to improve them.
